I will show you my Tel Aviv as Israel's most successful startup: born on bare sand dunes in 1909, became one of the world's coolest cities within one lifetime. Two to three hours by the sea, with storytelling and music.
On this private walking tour beside the Yarkon River and Tel Aviv Port, six stories meet: the rise of the first modern Hebrew city, the Maccabiah Games, Mediterranean trade, the birth of the port, Pinhas Rutenberg's electricity and the improvised beginnings of Israel's Air Force.
With historical photographs, music and a few surprises, you'll meet Yosef Yekutieli, Meir Dizengoff, Pinhas Rutenberg and the people who turned ambitious ideas into national institutions. Their names are only the beginning of the story.
Every participant receives a First Maccabiah Participant Card. We can also pause at Shuk HaNamal for local food and drinks.
The tour lasts 2 to 3 hours and is available in English or Hebrew for private groups and small groups.
