Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is the lowest place on Earth, and one of the strangest and most beautiful. On this fully customizable one- or two-day tour, shaped entirely around you, we explore the wonders of its salt-sculpted geology, float in the mineral water and taste the salt straight from the shore. Along the way the stories rise up: King David hiding from Saul in the desert oases, Cleopatra and the secret balsam perfume once worth more than gold, King Herod's cliff-top palaces, the ancient Hebrew scrolls hidden in the caves of Qumran, and the haunting mysteries of Masada. I'll also share a more recent, inspiring chapter: Moshe Novomeysky and the pioneers who tamed the salt to found Kalya and the settlements above the sea. Add a splash of desert graffiti, and it's part geology, part history, part pure wonder, all tailored to you.

One or two days, tailored to you. English or Hebrew. Private.
